Very high level of professionalism and integrity. My 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid had an electrical problem and the first mechanic said the problem was the main Hybrid Batter Pack - which is the most expensive thing on the car to fix. The symptoms did not seem to guarantee that but he was not cooperative and insisted that "unless the main battery is replaced the car will never be right". I took the car to E & J. It turned out to be something totally different. They diagnosed it with skill and it's now fixed. It was a complex issue to diagnose. Turned out to be ignition coils. And now I have a confession to make. I tested them several years ago (and they passed obviously). I heard a weird rhythmic noise close to the front right wheel and my inspection showed a small piece of molding/plastic was rubbing against the wheel. The sound that it was making caused me to think it was more serious but there it was. E & J had just moved to the new location down the street (about 100 yards from my house) and I said to myself "lets give this mechanic a test". I took it down there and he said "it's just a little piece of plastic rubbing on the tire". I think he even fixed it for free (with scissors right there). I have had them do maybe 5 or 6 repairs since then and they are great.

I am the 3rd generation going to E & J. We have been going there for over 45 years. John has continued and enhanced the service that his father provided. The new facility is awesome. After the car is inspected, I recieve a text with the diagnosis. This is helpful to me because I can see exactly what the problem is. This time I had a cracked motor mount. The picture allowed me to understand the nature of the problem and have the confidence to authorize the work. They have always been honest and do great work. I recommend them highly.

Service was prompt, and very complete. I asked for and got a complete exam for my old car that I'd like to hang onto for a few more years. They found a problem that most places don't look for. I always prefer to have a problem fixed if possible before having a breakdown on the road. Their prices are reasonable compared to other service stations and way less than dealerships.

E & J has been my trusted car mechanic for almost 20 years. This past Friday I was on my way heading out of town for the weekend on a trip of just over a hundred miles. Five minutes into the trip I heard a strange noise every time my front tire rotated, and discovered I had run over a hex head lag screw. Air was not leaking from the tire yet, but it likely would be soon and it would have been unsafe to continue. It was 50 minutes before closing time at E and J, so I called them and described the situation and said I was 10 minutes away from the shop. They said they could take care of it before closing, so I stopped there and in less than 30 minutes I was on my way with a repaired tire. And the best part was that because I had purchased my tires there, the repair was under warranty so there was no cost to getting the tire fixed! Thank you E & J!

Awesome people. Honored their warranty on one set of brakes and fixed the other brakes that werent done by them. Recommended service of radiator and transmission fluids that my car needed. Feel comfortable now for the upcoming winter. I will be back there for my oil change. John and Alex very kind and not pushy, and with being a woman a good mechanic is difficult to find. Prices are very reasonable. Very happy with service and customer satisfaction
