I was so tired of taking my car to the dealership and to the franchises like firestone and getting $2,000 estimates in recommendations every time I got an oil change. I don't know enough about cars so I just never really knew what to believe and they are always trying to overcharge you. I can confidently say that the guys at E & J are honest and really want what's best for you and your car. They are going to recommend the services you actually NEED.

I luckily live right near this shop - they are all you can ask for. Modern and transparent and fair. Third generation owners make this a neighborhood, staple, exactly the type of thing that you’d love to support in portage Park. Can’t recommend them enough !

Good service and didn't take too long at a good price. They inspected the whole car but didn't pressure me to get more than the oil change. Would recommend.

My experience was not the best and I would not use their service again as I don't feel I can trust them. In addition to being oversold on other services, I was told they suspected a leak but they couldn't check it because the undercarriage was too dirty and would need a $100 cleaning. When I picked up my car, I asked if they discovered a leak and was told they never even put my car on the lift to check and to bring it back in for the assessment. Had they lifted the car, they would have seen the cracked exhaust (which is what was making the noise I brought it in for). I found another shop and was very happy with that work.

They asked me to pay 190$ on the phone call without even check the car !!! Without even taking an appointment he asked me for 190$ that's Greedy!!! I will never deal with you anyway!
