I will never use another auto shop in Chicago. E&J is just that good. I've used them for suspension work, tire rotations, wheel alignments and just your general oil change. They are extremely honest, thorough and helpful. I've never felt pressured to do any work That seemed unecessary. They also back up all their inspections with pictures, which is really great if you don't regularly check your engine or undercarriage for what looks like it might need maintenance.

We have been taking our cars to E&J for years. John and Alex are very professional and good mechanics. They have been able to handle any problem we’ve ever had. Highly recommend them for any service! I pulled in yesterday with a large bolt in my tire at 4:50 pm and Alex advised me of my options. I left car overnight and picked it up today repaired. Alex advised me of other work needed but I had service scheduled with dealer for later this week. I enjoyed talking with Alex about baseball and cooking steaks on the grill. Best auto shop in the neighborhood.

As a new customer I can say that they were very professional, gave feedback as well as recommendations on what my car will need next. Everyone there was attentive and welcoming. Even receive a thank you letter!

The attention to detail is great, they give an extensive explanation for your understanding, and their customer service is amazing. They gave me a detailed Inspection report about the condition of my vehicle, each section was categorized & Even had PICTURES ! This made it easy for me to understand and see what I needed. It is also a plus because in the future I can refer back to this report to plan what needs to be attended to next!
